luminous was at GDC 2017 where hey showed their latest tech using Final Fantasy XV. The interesting part is what Tabata said. He sees this tech as the future of Final Fantasy. Let me explain that. You see he means that cut scenes that are so beautiful and well rendered will not just be limited to video but gameplay as they hope and see the two merging. Tabata sees the graphics of the game to match a movie at all time not jut for cut scenes. He compares imagining FFXV having the same quality of Kingsglaive all the way through.
