It seems many animes are becoming liver action and now we learn that Cowboy Bebop is one of them. The beloved bounty hunter anime is getting turned into a live action series by Tomorrow studios with partnership Marty Adelstein (Prison Break, Teen Wolf) will produce the series while Chris Yost (Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok) will write the adaptation will write it. No word on the actors but we have some names and job titles.Adelstein, Becky Clements (Good Behavior, Aquarius), Midnight Radio, and Matthew Weinberg. Midnight Radio is composed of Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg.
We also have a statement from Adelstein. “We are excited to work with Sunrise in bringing this beloved anime to the U.S. and global marketplace as a live-action series.” The producer also said, “The animated version has long resonated with audiences worldwide, and with the continued, ever growing, popularity of anime, we believe a live action version will have an incredible impact today.” Sounds good but will be good.
Mostly I can see this working as the same way I say Ghost In The Shell movie were it can be physical done and thus it give the actors ability to do there stuff. But if you are afraid of the mixed reviews the movie got showing this might not do to well I should tell you Sunrise will be co executive producer on the series. Will it be good remains to be seen.
As always thank you for reading.
