Yes we have the line ups for Tokyo Game Show 2017. While we are seeing game that would interest some are complaining that we are not seeing the ones we have been asking for. Capcom next Devil May Cry game and Tecmo Koie Ninja Gaiden and Final Fantasy VII Remake are the ones I am going to point out.
With NG it isn’t that simple as they have NiOh winding down and they don’t want the last DLC to be over shadowed by Ninja Gaiden. At the same time it is winding down so maybe announcing a working title might not be bad. They said they have been talking about some ideas. Lets hope that through the days of the convention we see some.
Capcom is different with Devil May Cry. DMC was a hit or miss depending on who you talked to. Yet we have been seeing small teases and a sense that they are doing something. Unlike Team Ninja Dante stands alone as Capcom Action/ Adventure hack & slash so if he drops it won’t be on anyone toes. Yet we have nothing so far to talk about official confirmed. This one is all fan belief as with all the stuff going on we believe there has to be something. Plus the director is teasing about a project. (Granted he has done many games that fans are asking for ) But for the sake of this argument lets hope it is this one.
Square Enix is in the same boat as Tecmo Koie as there are a lot of games coming out of its house true but that doesn’t mean we should settle for silence on the game. Final Fantasy VII Remake sudden in house shift has fans worried so show something won’t be too much. The game was taken in house right before E3 leaving fans wonder how is the progress of the game. Is it a restart on the work? Also with the talk of technology and dates we ( as I have mentioned before) need clarity on some of this stuff. The dates may stay mercy but the other stuff tech /battle system are things they can share with us. At this point we would accept art for the next character.
We have not heard anything about these games in the line but all three companies have surprises instore for TGS 2017. Lets hope that these games make the nice list.
