Neo Geo Battle Coliseum 2 mentioned in K back story that Goodman who we found out survived was Ingitz. That is if the rumor is true. For those who don’t know Ingiz was the boss of The King Of Fighters 2001 and took over the cartel of NEST after killing his father NEST right in front of the player. This post will server as an explanation of the two. Now before we start you should know that at this time between 2000 and 2002 SNK went bankrupt and Eloith took over until Snkplaymore took the rights of KOF and other SNK games back.
Ignitz has a god complex which given also his look can explain Godman who was made basically for NGBC. But the two played different and it might also Ingiz was defeated by K team as he was the hero and before Ash saga you always gave the W to the hero team. But basically he crashed his satilite base into the earth but yet everyone survived thanks to Kula. Igniz power was massive from using white energy from electricity to flames to even being able to channel the power of the milky galaxy through his tech or body. He was slated to use magic as we saw in KOF 2002 UM. He also fights using a whip and tails from his suit. The main thing here is that it is hard to say where is tech ends and the natural power begins. I would like to say his suit gives him incredible strength while he can tape into the power on his own.
Goodman on the other hand isn’t so powerful. Basically he has a flaming whip and the spirit of Goku in the form of a flaming beast. At full power he can enhance himself and Suru strength. His goals was to rise to power through tech as he allied himself with King Lion and Neo Dio an alien from out space. His group made a fake Oriochi. But with that said with the smiliarties in looks and some power you can see where people can make the connection also with Verse resetting things this can easily leave it so SNK can say that Goodman was Ignitz in a weakened state. But I would like to explain What Verse said to K is not Ingiz but Krizlaid but I will leave that for another post.
