Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 Patch 2.1 Official Notes

We have more notes on Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2. Some of this sounds the same but be clear it can change over time so check back and  I will let you know. That statement is a play off of Eventhubs.com who basically said the same thing. We can see this as not all the characters are here as compared to the  last time. I am doing this to see if there are any differences.  Stay tuned and check out what we have so for.

Changes

• The inconvenient situation with Airborne Blitz Shield, which when activated right before landing would not deplete tension gauge, has been changed.

Sol Badguy

Forward Dash
• In both regular state and Dragon Install, Sol will now accelerate faster.

Forward Heavy Slash
• When hitting grounded opponents, will now force crouch state on them.
• Decreased the move’s knockback
• The move’s collision box was extended forward.

Volcanic Viper (Dragon Install Version)
• When the first hit of this move comes out, there will now be an effect where the screen shakes.

Grounded S Volcanic Viper
• The hitbox on the start of the second part of this move has been enlarged.
• The invincibility on the second part of this move has been extended.

Grounded S Volcanic Viper (Dragon Install Version)
• The hitbox on the start of the second part of this move has been enlarged.

Airborne Bandit Revolver
• Now sends opponents flying further away horisontally.
• The startup on the second part of the move is now faster, and the time you have to connect with it has been increased. There has been no change to its recovery.
• The move will no longer become two hits after the initial movement.

Wild Throw
• Including both the regular and Dragon Install versions, the window in which you can Roman Cancel this move on hit has been extended.

Grand Viper
• Will now start moving forward faster. The startup of the move or its combo properties have not been changed.
• Sol’s speed during the move has also been increased.
• Including both the regular and Dragon Install versions, the falling part of this move will now also be faster.

Fafnir (Dragon Install Version)
• When this move is activated, there will now be an effect where the screen shakes.

P.B.B.
• When Sol starts moving from this move, there will now be an effect where the screen shakes.
• The window in which you can Roman Cancel this move on hit has been extended.

Ky Kiske

Forward HS
• The second hit will now put opponents in a regular hit state on hit.
• Now has increased knockback on block.

Jumping D
• Its hitbox and the Grinder Creation box has been moved further down.
• Its downward hitbox has been decreased

Grounded Stun Edge (Enhanced Version)
• Hitstop has been added to this move.

Greed Sever
• The knockback on block has been decreased.
• The hitbox of the move has been changed overall.
• The hurtbox downwards has been increased.
• The distance opponents are sent flying downwards has been decreased.
• After being bounded, opponents will no longer fly as high up.
• The timing in which opponents will begin to fall, and the speed or their descent has been changed. There is no overall change to how long opponents will stay airborne from this move.

Airborne Vapor Thrust
• When done with HS, the distance opponents are sent flying horizontally has been increased.

Grinder
• The area in which a Stun Edge will be enhanced has been vertically increased.

May

Crouching S
• You can now gatle into this move from down forward K (numpad: 3K).

Down Forward K (Numpad: 3K)
• Her speed moving forward has been increased.
• May will start to decelerate earlier in the move, so that the deceleration will occur gradually.

Jumping D
• The non-recoverable time after being counter hit by this move has been increased.
• Opponents will now be sent flying a shorter distance horizontally when counter hit by this move.

S Mr. Dolphin (Vertical)
• The upwards hurtbox on ascent has been decreased.
• When opponents are hit during descent, they will no longer rebound as high up as before.
• The hit during descent has been changed to put opponents into a regular hit state.

HS Mr. Dolphin (Vertical)
• When opponents are hit during descent, they will no longer rebound as high up as before.

Ensenga?
• The initial part of the move will now hit crouching opponents as an overhead instead of whiffing on crouchers.
• The startup of the first hit is now faster. There has been no change to the move’s active frames. Because of this change, the second part of the move also has faster startup.
• The first part of the move now has a bigger hitbox downwards.

Millia Rage

Forward P
• Can now gatle into Forward HS.

Bad Moon (High Altitude)
• Because of the high height when started, amount of hits have been increased.
• She now moves forward faster.
• Damage has been decreased.
• Hitstop has been decreased.
• The non-recoverable time after being hit has been decreased.
• There have been changes to the bound situation when the opponent hits the ground, they will bounce further away.
• When used against a grounded opponent, this move will now have a regular hit effect in certain situations depending on Millia’s level of altitude when the move lands.

Silent Force
• When the dagger is stuck in the ground, Millia can now retrieve it during Roll or Roll Again.

Emerald Rain
• A lowest level of scaling for this move has been added.
• Opponents will now fly away less distance when bounded.
• The height, speed and course of when projectiles are formed has been changed.

Chroming Rose
• When using Bad Moon (High Altitude) in this state, its hitbox has been moved further forward making its startup faster.
• The startup time of the attacks when using Turbo Fall has become faster.

Zato-1

Crouching K
• Can now be gatled into his Dust.

Far Standing S
• Can now be gatled into Forward HS.

Forward HS
• Now sends opponents flying further horizontally on hit.
• Opponents are sent flying slightly further horizontally on counter hit.

Jumping S
• Can now be jump cancelled.

Summon Eddie (Return)
• The Eddie gauge will no longer decrease if you let go of P, K or S right after this move.

Dead Man’s Hand
• During the move he will accelerate forward, and after the active frames on the move ends he will decelerate.
• From the beginning of movement until the active frames on the attack end, his hurtbox downward has been decreased.

Damned Fang
• The window in which you can Roman Cancel this move on hit has been extended.

Drunkard Shade
• Opponents will be sent flying further horizontally by this move, but less distance vertically.

Great White
• This move now has a time freeze effect when it hits.
• Depletes 50% of the Eddie gauge, and if there’s any Eddie gauge left after the move Eddie will return to Summon Eddie mode.
• Regardless of the remaining Eddie gauge, the move will now hit 3 times.

Potemkin

Jumping D
• Fixed an irregularity where Potemkin wouldn’t land on the ground when trying to follow up on this move.

Heat Knuckle
• The move now has faster startup.
• The move now gives longer hitstun.

Megafist (Forward)
• When hitting airborne opponents, it will now send them flying downwards instead.

Potemkin Buster
• The window in which you can Roman Cancel this move on hit has been extended.

I.C.P.M.
• You can now combo after landing this attack when Roman Canceled.

Heavenly Potemkin Buster
• The window in which you can Roman Cancel this move on hit has been extended.
• The move now has faster startup.

Chipp Zanuff

Wakeup animation
• The hurtbox behind Chipp has been reduced.

Jump animation
• The hurtbox behind Chipp has been reduced.

Jumping S
• The move’s downward hitbox has been increased.

Jumping HS
• The opponent will now be sent flying a lesser distance vertically when hit by the first part of this move.

Airborne Alpha Blade
• When hit by the start of this attack, opponents will now switch which direction they’re facing.

Grounded Beta Blade
• Is now throw invincible.

Genrouzan
• The window in which you can Roman Cancel this move on hit has been increased.

Wall Cling to Genrouzan
• The window in which you can Roman Cancel this move on hit has been increased.

Wall Cling to Alpha Blade
• Hitstop has been added.
• The horizontal distance the opponent will be sent flying has been increased, while the vertical distance has been decreased.
• On hit, the opponent will now be sent flying in the direction Chipp is actually facing.
• The attack now moves less distance horizontally.

Zansei Rouga
• Opponents are now sent flying further horizontally by the final hit.
• The final hit can now be Roman Cancelled.

Ryuu Yanagi
• The lowest guaranteed damage of this move has been reduced.

Faust

Going My Way
• Removed the collision box from this move while active frames are going on (presumably meaning Faust shouldn’t be able to push opponents out of the attack if they’re hit).
• No longer has any landing recovery for Faust if it hits.
• Hitbox and hurtbox have been changed.
• The non-recoverable time for opponents when hit by the move has been increased.
• The way opponents are sent flying by the move has been changed. During the earlier parts of the move they’ll fly a shorter distance, and the further it goes the further they’ll fly away if hit.
• The move will now rise much further towards the end.

From Above
• Faust will now descend faster.
• Opponents will no longer rebound from being hit.
• Removed the collision box from this move from when it hits until landing.
• When landed as a normal hit, the opponents will now bound off the ground.
• On counter hit, the opponents will fly similar to on a normal hit except with a further increased non-recoverable time window.
• The speed in which Faust returns after the move on block or on whiff has been changed.

Spear Point Centripedal Dance (Pogo Stance)
• The timing in which to unleash moves from it has become faster.

Growing Flower
• The hurtbox has been overall decreased during the move’s first half, and overall increased during the move’s second half.
• The hitbox on the move has been increased horizontally.

See? I’m a Flower!
• If Roman Cancelled, Faust can now release high projectiles.
• Can now be used both in corner and mid-screen.

Small Jump
• There’s now a priority window for Just A Taste, Growing Flower, See? I’m a Flower! and Going My Way over this move.

Doctor-Copter
• This move now has faster startup.

Stimulating Fists of Annihilation
• The window in which you can Roman Cancel this move on hit has been increased.
