We are entering April which means we need to see what Boruto is up to. This month has us slowly itching to the movie story. As you will see below I mean slowly for those who have been waiting for it.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 52 – Sasuke’s Shadow
After a brief exchange in battle, the White Zetsus escape. Konohamaru explains that the Zetsus are creatures created by Kaguya Otsutuski, the originator of all ninjas who was defeated fifteen years ago in the world war. Sarada convinces Konohamaru to keep fighting the Zetsus, and Team 7 defeats a White Zetsu. The team later learn that Sasuke has been in the area as they notice his technique “Amaterasu” was used to defeat the other enemies. Konohamaru reveals to his students that Sasuke is on a secret mission to investigate the Otsutuski clan but has to keep it a secret to the ninja world. Shortly afterwards, Team 7 leave the area. In Kaguya’s ice dimension, Sasuke is seen confronting a person named Kinshiki and his master Momoshiki.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 53 – Himawari’s Birthday
In contrast to his classmates who have shown the desire to take the Chunin Examination, Boruto’s refusal of the exam confuses everyone. During this time, Boruto’s family is celebrating Himawari’s birthday by having the whole family together for the first time in a long while. Boruto is grateful that his father Naruto is keeping his promise of “celebrating Himawari’s birthday together”, however……. That night, the Uzumaki family is visited by a guest. - April 18, 2018
