Gundam 00 is one of the gundam series that gives the pilots special mechs to themselves similar to Gundam Wing. As we have confirmed that a stage play is in the works it seems that is not the only thing. A sequel anime is also in the works. No details on how the universe shaped by celestial being has done but we will find out. There is a manga series that takes place after the anime but we will have to see if that is what they chose to run with.
