Boruto Naruto Next Generation Difference Between Exams

Boruto Naruto Next Generation has started the chunin test with Boruto getting his hands on some ninja tech. Crunchyroll.com compares the exams past and present to see if Boruto could have been right.

The article looks at how times have changed between when Naruto took it and as Boruto is now taking looking at him using ninja tech. The tournament is showing what skills you have which has always been the case. But now that ninja tools have developed so much they are not allowed which puts Boruto in the cheating column.

The issue with that is long term fans may remember that was welcomed at one point. Naruto was allowed to cheat so long as he didn’t get caught. The contrast is that we all know that Boruto does and feels crummy(or poor about it. Something that seems off given the exam and how we were introduced to it back in the day.

To me it is a different lesson. Naruto was shown that you need to find a way to win a fight take it in order to complete the mission. Boruto is talking about self accomplishment and whether or not he earned it. You can look at the article yourself in the link and tell me your thoughts.
