Street Fighter V Arcade Edition is getting some customs this time they are from Devil May Cry. Ken gets to dress up like Dante which is fitting since they share the same voice actor. Eddy gets Nero (complete with devil trigger) while Laura gets to be Gloria. Now I should point out these customs are from DMC 4. Not only that but we also get to see Rashid as Air Man. You can see them below and expect the DMC 5 themed customs June 25th.Also Survival mode is getting some changes that to will be below.
Survival Mode changes
Street Fighter 5’s brutal Survival Mode will see a number of updates added to it:
• Battle goods (consumable items to aid you).
• The ability to continue, after losing, by spending 1,000 Fight Money.
• When continuing, you start with full health, EX Gauge, and V-Gauge.
• Saving your progress after clearing a stage.
• Standard or random select for opponents.
• Random select still keeps the same ‘boss’ characters every 10 fights.
• Random will expand the characters you face beyond the launch roster.
• Unused V-Gauge will now transfer over between stages.
Fighting Chance (loot boxes)
This is a brand new mode, hosted by Menat, which offers all sorts of different goodies. It costs 500 Fight Money to try it out. Menat will read your fortune, and this appears to be similar to loot box functions in other games. Here’s are things you can win, note some are exclusive to the Fighting Chance mode:
• Battle Goods for Survival Mode.
• Unique colors only obtainable in Fighting Chance.
• Rare costumes only obtainable in Fighting Chance.
• Cammy’s Cannon Spike is one of these costumes (pictured below).
• More costumes will be added in over time.
• Classic pieces of Street Fighter art from across the series.
