Germany has now banned retailers from posting vague release dates for games. If you don’t know what this is referring to it let me explain.
For some games which are announced early such as Final Fantasy VII Remake as an example a vague release date is used so gamers can preorder and when the game actual get a release date there money will be used the same a normal preorder is.
In Germany they made this ruling based on the simple fact that fans should know when there games are coming out after preorders. This ban by the way applies to coming soon”, “available soon”, or “TBA”.
