We are getting a better idea of Gundam Live Action with these small interviews. One thing is that the film is said to take the view of many female characters. This is interesting as since the main character is a kid he is trying to best the red comet you would think it might just focus on them. But it seems this move is because of the culture.
“We are also aware of the cultural movement shaking the U.S. these days. As such, we are looking into how the presence of Gundam’s many female characters can be enhanced in this live-action film.”
The article doesn’t stop there as this will not just focus on soldiers but also normal people caught in extreme situations. If you are a Gundam fan you can probably name a few normal people were forced into a gundam. This movie is sounding interesting as even for long time fans it might not be what you are expecting. Hopefully it isn’t too far away so we can all enjoy the mechanized story that we have come to love.
