It seems Ono will no longer be encharge of Capcom fighting game division. Ryozo Tsujimoto best known for the Monster Hunter series. Now with that Ono will still have an influence but not as bit.
According to the article Ono statues was changed in 2016 and is the end result of Street Fighter V and Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite. Both big Capcom titles failed to make there sales goals. SFV would break 2 million in 2017 but MVCI would be something we see the company give up on altogether.
There are a lot more things you need to know about Ryozo such as is the son of Capcom’s founder and current Chairman, Kenzo Tsujimoto as well as the brother of COO and future president Haruhiro Tsujimoto, will take the latest Street Fighter entry to new heights. It’s evident that Ryozo Tsujimoto is no small player at Capcom, as he current holds almost 4% stock in the company, a tad more than even his father Kenzo.
At the moment fans are waiting to see what this new team has enstore for the pro tour 2018. Will they introduce more DLC? Will we get more mechanic? We will have to see what Ryozo has planned for the fighting game division.
As always thank you for reading.
