It is official in there will be no PSX (PlayStation Experience) this year. While we heard about we never got an official statement on it. Today we do and apparently Sony doesn’t think they can get enough games to make people gather in one area.
“The reasons behind that really are… we have a lot of progress that we’re making in our games… Now that we have Spider-Man out the door, we’re looking down in 2019’s games like Dreams and Days Gone, but we wouldn’t have enough to bring people all together in some location in North America to have that event. We don’t want to set the expectations really high, and then not deliver on it.”
This is interesting as last year the major games were God Of War and Detroit. The rest were just quick flashes and in the end seemed rather dull or low energy as compared to PSX past. So maybe they are holding off as they see about making the experience something to see or go to. What this basically means is that we will have to see if Spike will have the video game awards to catch anything new before the year ends. What are your thoughts though. let me know.
