Boruto last 2 chapters had our young hero getting a new house guest with Kawaki as Naruto wanted to treat him better than how him or another tail best host was. Understandable as they were treated like weapons and not people. And given how powerful Kawaki is Naruto put himself encharge of it. (Another issue he has as he sees he must handle everything.) But this post is about Naruto making the same mistake that Kakashi made with Sasuke.
Let go back to the beginning of this series with team Kakashi. Back then Kakashi saw himself in Sasuke and even to the point that he told to forget about revenge thinking he can do so. Kakashi underestimated Sasuke thrust for revenge and it lead him to leave the village. Something that Naurto and the other had to deal with in Shipppuden. Not only did they try to bring him back but the damage Sasuke on his quest for revenge (and purpose in life given how the series ended) but the damage he caused through out the series was a problem. It did come to a peaceful conclusion but only after they won the ninja war.
We see that Kawaki and Boruto are fighting in the future leading us to another face such as Naruto and Sasuke epic fight at the end of Shippuden. And give the vibes Kawaki is given off you can see the same thing happening again.
