China has put a stop to green channel. The green channel is responsible for approving video games for the world wide market from China. But this works both ways as outside game companies will not be approved as well.
This is because they are reworking the approval process to make it easier and shorter. This will start November 10, 2018. At the moment of me putting this out there is no date as to when the reform will take place. The green channel itself was only implemented August last year.
This has created a gray market and in some cases leaving some people stuck. However those with license as well as big companies such as Tencent have weather the storm so far.
