Nintendo and JRPG fans were blown away when it was revealed that Joker of Persona 5 will be in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. But this got many wondering how when Persona 5 isn’t on Switch. Unless of course it is coming to the system at some point in the near future. Well IGN caught up with Reggie Fils-Aime ans asked him about it. This is what he has to say.
“You know, I can’t comment on that. Again, from our perspective, we’ve been clear. We want all the best content on our platform. All the best content, all the best developers. And so our job is to continue growing the install base for Nintendo Switch to drive engagement of our players, to grow the audience. As that happens, then developers see the opportunity.”
Is this opportunity something Atlus plans on capturing with Persona 5? We will have to see as there is a rumor a port is in the works. Whether or not it is true however remains to be seen. But what you do you guys think? Let me know.
