Devil May Cry 5 V Reference To Ninja Theory DMC ???

Devil May Cry 5 had new trailers showing off more of the game as well as there newest playable character V. As many point out V familiar being a reference to the first game I don’t think they are the only references we have seen thus far. V devil trigger for instance is another.

In DMC Devil May Cry devil trigger was different than what we have seen before. As Dante unlocked his demonic power it would make him more powerful but kept him human. The sign of him using devil trigger was everything going red and his hair going white. Something that towards the end of the game was all white or half way depending on how much you used it. What we see with V is that his hair turns white as well when he begins to tap into true demonic power.

Now this is because if the reboot worked it would be before the Devil May Cry 3. Thus since Dante awoke his true demonic powers in that game Ninja Theory decided to show us when he began to tap into his demonic side at least become aware of it. Now we know this game team and DMC was competing against each other. And given DMC did get a fans base but the other didn’t like it I see this as them giving team Ninja Theory some nod. But what do you think Let me know.

As always thank you for reading.
