When Boruto manga was announced we all knew an anime would soon as that was tradition with Shonen big hits. Well the anime came and seems to move past the manga. Something fans have become worried about. You see fillers were used because the anime got ahead of the manga and thus had to wait until it caught up. Now the anime moving faster than manga and in some ways doing its own thing some fans are worried about how that will all connect. But people behind the scenes say not to worry.
Unlike the Naruto series Boruto is monthly not weekly and this doesn’t leave the anime much to work with. Thus we see fillers that are better than the old ones but still leave fans concerned how the manga and anime will stay connected. Well Mr. Taguchi, and Weekly Shonen Jump Editor-in-Chief Hiroyuki Nakan gave us the answer.
Both are cannon with the anime promised not to miss plot points mentioned by the manga. While this is answer on how they are connected the person writing the article for Comicbook.com Nick Valdez admits what many are thinking this doesn’t help with continuity. It is great to have them link but to when Mitsuki disappears and even the current art take place is a major soar spot for fans. But what do you think let me know.
