We know that The King Of Fighters XV is in the works as SNK has started they are working on it. With that said I wanted to talk about what we can expect when we see the trailer next year. I believe we will get a trailer as with a 2020 release date we should be getting something next year be it a teaser or a truthful teaser. These are my thoughts on that.
Graphics may be your top pick for update and rest assured it is also SNK. With the president admitting that no one was happy with the graphics of XIV you can rest easy that they are making sur to put unreal 4 to work. There are a few who think that Samurai Showdown will be the company testing the engine as well as the art style they want to use for KOF XV. As much as I like Guilty Gear Xrd art style I don’t think SNK can pull it off and I am not to sure if they will take the same look they are using for Samurai Showdown for XV so it will be interesting to see what they go with.
Gameplay is a something we all loved about xiv. Between max mod and the cancels it was excellent but like all things gaming fans not only ask for more but improvements. Some are asking for the game to have just defend added to it. Just defend was in Mark of the wolves and allowed you to block with out chipping. Many are also wondering if max mode will be changed. With XIV we have max mode allowing the player to us ex moves so long as they have bar on top of cutting down the bar needed for a super so long as you have more than 2. Fans are wondering if this will stay the same or will it change and SNK will add more to it? We will have to wait and see,
Story is something I want a little more of. Verse brought back many fighters but we don’t know what he is. Also the story telling for teams is something I hope we see improvement so we get team specific cinematics to go with the game. And if you a fan of this blog you know I want my intros back.
