We have a new Final Fantasy VII Remake rumor. The new rumor talks about Square Enix having a big event for it similar to how it had for XV. The event will have trailer showing off characters, gameplay as well as environment. They also talk about the first part in 2020.
Now before we dismiss this think careful. Remember how Nomura kept saying they are looking for an event for the game. This sounds like what he was talking about. check it out.
Big FFVII Remake Re-Reveal Event coming in April 2018 [they obviously mean 2019]
It’s gonna be similiar to the FFXV Uncovered thing which they did in 2016 and take place in Tokyo this time, but also live streamed via Twitch and YouTube. Event is still getting planned, so I got not too many details as of right now, but here are all the things I know:
- they aim for a length of about two hours for the show
- reveal videos of every main character design throughout the show starting with Cloud, Barret and Aerith. Actually similiar to how Smash Bros does it: first a little CGI trailer with their personal themes and then a trailer that shows off how they play in combat (they all have their unique fighting style)
- explaining the combat and materia systems will be a huge deal in general
- environmental trailer with our first look outside of Midgar
- there will be three main “parts” aka games for the story of FFVII, first game seemingly not Midgar only
- All the Zack shenanigans will only be DLC
- they’re trying to bring Nobuo Uematsu and his orchestra on stage, but that depends on his health condition
- release date reveal of the first game at the end: Late 2020
- also a lot of side stuff like mobile games and shit, of course they’re gonna milk it to death (again)
Now the Zack part is fake as DLC is to far to see right now as well as the release of 2020. The trailer thing sounds like it could be a thing as it is a good way to go through it. Plus this rumor which means it can be right, wrong or some of it can be both. We have to see. Now it says 2018 and means 2019. Let me know your thoughts.
