Koei Tecmo have trademark Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z. This basically means that they renewed the licsnse of Ninja Gaiden Z which was a spinoff that had Yabia a ninja who lost to Ryu killing Zombies.
The reason why this is interesting is because of something the article notes. They don’t trademark things they don’t use. If you didn’t play it the story is a different ton then the games of the rest of the series. Even for revenge the zombies provide an odd slap stickl comedy that is normally unseen in it. So does this mean we will be once again killing zombies with Yabia as goes after Ryu for some pay back. We will have to see.
