This post on the new Final Fantasy VII Remake and if you have not heard of it there is a rumor that Square Enix is planning a big event in April for remake. Some of it sounds true some false as we have talk about. First the date doesn’t sound too bad. As April sounds about the right time to show something as it has given Kingdom Hearts 3 some time to breath. But if that is the case they should announce something either late January or mid February. I give it that time so we can all get ready for the type of event this is sounding like it will be. But for what the event will cover and why I think this is real.
First why I think this is a thing is because it sounds like what Nomura has been asking for. An event to talk about the game and since FFXV got one why not FF7R. Now there are some things that are too much such as DLC and release date. While the DLC on Zack sounds false and release date to good to be true. For one DLC tis early is to soon. Even if you are those who announce it along with the development of the game. 2nd the date puts this game release next year and as much as I would love it to be that just sounds too good too me. Now for what it would cover that would due if we got trailer for characters , environments and gameplay. I think they need to be separate so we can go over them enough through out the event that way we have It straight.
We got more announcements on ties ins such as the movie and anime then seeing stuff on the game itself. Now they have mentioned the idea of announce things along with remake which this would be a bad place for it. I just want this to be as informative as possible since we are demanding and have been promised such as thing. With that said though I doubt we will be shown everything here. Even with uncovered there was still trailer for E3 that same year. So basically this will be a big event for the game just not the only time we hear about it. But those are my thoughts on the event. Big FFVII Remake Re-Reveal Event coming in April 2018 [they obviously mean 2019]
It’s gonna be similiar to the FFXV Uncovered thing which they did in 2016 and take place in Tokyo this time, but also live streamed via Twitch and YouTube. Event is still getting planned, so I got not too many details as of right now, but here are all the things I know:
- they aim for a length of about two hours for the show
- reveal videos of every main character design throughout the show starting with Cloud, Barret and Aerith. Actually similiar to how Smash Bros does it: first a little CGI trailer with their personal themes and then a trailer that shows off how they play in combat (they all have their unique fighting style)
- explaining the combat and materia systems will be a huge deal in general
- environmental trailer with our first look outside of Midgar
- there will be three main “parts” aka games for the story of FFVII, first game seemingly not Midgar only
- All the Zack shenanigans will only be DLC
- they’re trying to bring Nobuo Uematsu and his orchestra on stage, but that depends on his health condition
- release date reveal of the first game at the end: Late 2020
- also a lot of side stuff like mobile games and shit, of course they’re gonna milk it to death (again)
