Dragon Ball Super Broly has been getting a lot praise as one of the best anime films out there giving the franchise a boost. With that said some people are seeing more than just a good story coming out of this movie. Some people are seeing signs that Broly makes the case for Super Saiayn 4.
Basicaly Broly shows Super Saiayan 4 can be a thing without going into GT. The article I am referencing talks about the source of Broly wild power and why it is different from the others is because he can tap into the Saiyan’s Ozaru (Great Ape) without transforming into it. This come at the cost of his sanity though but many see it as being a case for Super Saiyan 4 as with 3 &4 we see the character show a great link with the great ape. Much more with 4 as you must turn into a golden great ape and stay in control in order to gain the form. 
Now this article leaves a little puzzled. On one hand I can see what they are saying and it seems DBS is forgetting about GT as it goes on. Thus them coming up with there own way to achieve Super Saiyan 4 makes sense in that regard. But there are some down sides here. 1 is that GT is accept by Akira the fans base might have some problems with but that is has been the case so far. 2 is that DBS seems to be focused on god chi which allows Goku and Vegeta to us Super Saiyan Blue. At the moment I don’t see them just dropping that to take in SS4 when we have for the most part not seen the group push past SSB. Vegeta so far seems be the only one and that seems only to equal Goku using kaioken x 10 SSB. 3rd the series is supposed to go into GT. Yes I am one o the people who think that might not be the case with the way the series is going but that is the plain.
But those are my thoughts let me know what you think.
