Fans are talking about the latest rumor of Final Fantasy VII Remake has us looking in April as we look take in this Uncovered Final Fantasy VII rumor/ hoax (I saw this as I realize the whole image might have been photo shopped based on Square Enix twitter to which I apologize for raving about it.)
Wit that said though that isn’t the only rumor pointing towards April. But such as with most rumors that have a time limit we are watching as we get closer to it. With April we are looking as there only a certain amount of time as they have to announce it at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance. This again is for prep time and so press and the place can get there things together.
But that is not all as this rumor about an event is based on forms. Thus the question of whether there will be a soul event for the game or events must be asked. The rumor event would be cool but as said prior I see FF7R being shown at many events through out year. This is not just due to the rumor that it might be coming out this year. Since KH3 is out and done many think the remake will be the center of Square Enix attention. With it being the big game means Square Enix will be talking about it every chance they get. Thus if the rumor is true this event might be the start of the talks but not the end. Especially if we are to take in the rumor the game is coming out this year.
If the game is coming out this year. Lets say towards the end of the year as the rumor suggest then news should begin soon. Most of the time hype trains begin months out. (Yes we can argue that the hype train for this game begun years out but lets just admit it and move on.) This puts another emphasize on the ticking cloak metaphor. Granted we are talking about Square Enix and they have been rushing things or being off timing. But lets be honest about the rush.
Fans are fearing this and that Square Enix are pushing the game out before it is ready. That is if Nomura and Kitase have been lying to us. Again we must keep in mind the two are saying the game has been excellent progress. Nomura in fact said it has done far more than we think it has Now we may doubt this as previous instances have proven that they are not the most reliable. (Versus does come to mind. Again admit it and move on.) They could have the game ready for us to look at and even a demo as some hopeful fans think. (Hopeful being the key word.) Granted this is all hopefully but again Nomura and Kitase promised us news we want it. Let s hope we get it.
Now I will round this out with the event as it can be off in 2 ways. 1 we get an event but we are wrong about the date (A lot of people seem to be doing there own thing besides E3 so it can happen.) At the same time we may be wrong about there being an event at all. We are talking about a rumor so it can be almost true or true. Partly false or complete wrong. We will have to see.
