Verum Rex Nomura New Final Fantasy XIII Versus

This will contain spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 3 as we talk about Verum Rex. AGIAN SPOILERS AHEAD SO STOP NOW.

When we saw Verum Rex in KH3 many fans immediately thought versus xiii. Since they were made by the same person you should be surprise that there are similarities to what would have been FFXV if Nomura stayed on. This got fans think about us seeing either Verum Rex becoming its own game or where KH heads since they are done with the hearts and Disney. fans who still want Finlal Fantasy Versus XIII. Fan theroies or at least that is what you would think that if you didn’t read the ultimania.

In the ultimania Nomura talks about Verum Rex saying it could become something but not borrowing anything that we have seen. To be plain at least to me he is saying that it can become a game taking ideas from Versus but these ideas would those we have not see. his is due o the fact that of the Versus we got to see it was indeed very little. This gives Nomura the chance to use ideas that he didn’t get to show us.

At the same time it can’t be in the same context as this will not be an FF game and thus we somethings need to be changed not only that but even when it became XV the game still used some of Nomura ideas. Hajime just changed them a bit. Yes we didn’t get the mafia style fantasy face off we believe we were from the original trailers. Yet at the same time as more information about the game came to light we found out that some ideas were still used.

All this means is we get to see them in new light. Now when we will seem them we don’t know but Nomura for his part seems to still want make a versus game one way or another. As for why he did it this way  and getting us feeling as though versus has some kind of chance a spiritual successor  is for SE to see it has a chance. He wanted to use this as proof that it can work bye showing the hype and fan response this idea has gathered.  You can see the video below that discussed these points from the ultimania.

As always thank you for reading.
