When we heard that Tite Kubo was working on something people hoped Bleach others said no it was just Sakura wars. When Shonen showed a new image teasing Kubo new work using Ichigo from the last arc fans were starting to get really happy. That is until we learned it was all for his work on Sakura wars. Yes Kubo big new project was the new Sakura wars which we knew before it was teased which is one of the thing I don’t understand about this.
To give everyone some context we heard Kubo was working on something new after it was revealed he was doing art work for the new Sakura Wars games. (Hence why they look a little like Bleach characters.) Since the Sakura Wars wok was announced fans hoped the new work might be Bleach related. Especially since Ichigo was used for to convey that Kubo is working on something.
Alas that is not the case. I like probably most of the fan base is up set. Not because of the tease but the way it was handled. It was well known that Kubo was working on Sakura Wars so why tease it when the news is out. Also why did Shonen chose to tease this way. If they wanted to get fans excited for Kubo related stuff that was current why not use Burn The Witch? Again it just feels odd to me how this handled to get us hyped about Sakura Wars by using Bleach as spark for the conversation.
The whole thing got fans excited as we thought the series was getting more news besides mobile game updates. But I still have hope for this and many series to return to knock our socks off. But how do you feel about this? Let me know.
