SNK is revealed at a investor meeting in Korea that starting with 2020 they will be doing 2 games a year. This sounds good on one had bad on the other. Good that if they are doing 2 games a year than all of its fans should be satisfied soon as a sequel for your favorite SNK title should come up. The bad news would be it might divide SNK loyalist to pick and chose which might hurt them in the end.
Today we learn that what is happening is 1 console game and 1 mobile game will be coming out a year. What that means is that The King OF Fighters XV is the console game which might leave the new Metal Slug as the new mobile. While this form answers that question it leaves open another.
Basically how will DLC be handled is something that seems hard to see with a new console game coming out each year. With KOF XIV we saw a long life cycle with DLC and other updates but this when they only had one game to focus on over a few years. With this line up it will be interesting to see what life span SNK give there games now that it appears they are pick some serious momentum. But what do you think let me know.
