Mortal Kombat XI has been out for a bit and the videos keep coming. With these we learn not just lore but little things you might have missed. One thing is brutalities specifically with Sub Zero as we learn he can do something special. With Sub Zero you can control the pose your ice clone makes in victory.
[After performing a Brutality with Sub-Zero, he will create an Ice Klone in his image that performs a certain victory pose. Did you know that this Ice Klone can actually take up one of three different poses? It’s not a random variable that determines this, however.
By default, one of these poses will be activated by simply not pressing any direction after completing the Brutality. To get one of the other versions, you simply need to either hold up or down.
One pose has the Ice Klone mirroring Sub-Zero’s normal victory animation. The Klone’s hands are held in front of its chest area without actually touching.
Another pose has the Klone reeling back. If this Klone were a person, it would be natural for the character to unleash a victory roar or chant while performing this.
Finally, the final appearance has the Klone doing Sub-Zero’s classic win animation from the original Mortal Kombat game. This has it raising its fist high into the air.]
As always thank you for reading.
