When Mortal Kombat XI was announced many names for who could be in it start to float around from MK history to guest characters. One of these names was Shaggy of Scooby Doo. The idea started as a joke before being squashed with words never happen during a kombat kast.
So what brings it back? The director of MKXI Ed Boon has gone twitter asking fans do the really want Scooby eating buddy to be in the bloodiest fighting game of all time. The petition to add this hipster of 60s has 400, 000 signatures but at the same time no one sees this happen. While Ed Boon does have this on twitter we can’t tell if he is serious or not.
Also we are talking about Shaggy a character who has never seen a serious fight and is usual kept for Child cartoon mysterious. While Warner Brothers do have the right. I don’t see them letting Shaggy do a brutal on anyone much less the level of violence in this game fatalities. But again I could be wrong which means we will see how this goes.
