Dragon Ball Super threw everyone for a loop with 110 when Goku ultra instinct transformation was given a different name. Autonomous Ultra Instinct are the words that come out of Beerus mouth and it leads to us scratching our heads. Even at this point from everyone subtitling the episode it is suppose to be ultra instinct. So why the change? Some are saying it is to match lip flaps are saying it might just might be translations. It can also be Funimation setting up the different stages.
If you followed the subtitles than you that Goku goes through many stages of ultra instinct. In fact it reminds me of Namek and when we started first hearing about Super Saiyan. Goku just kept getting stronger until he finally broke through the transformation. Well ultra instinct form are more visual but each one are supposed to be different. Yet in subtitle it is all ultra instinct something that didn’t get explained until after the series had its season finale where the people behind the show explained the stages. This could be me reading into this . Let me know your thoughts on Funimation take on ultra instinct.
