The studio behind Disgaea is in trouble. Studio Nippon Ichi is having finical trouble. According to the article the studio has been suffering many loses as titles weren’t doing well in Japan. This has brought the company to the point where they can’t pay there employees. This has caused them to sell stock cheap on the market hopefully to raise enough money to pay the staff. The article doesn’t say if the progress of this sell.
The main reason for this is NIP going into service with Forward Works a subsidiary of Sony for Disagaea. Well the service didn’t pain out so well. From issues to just being shut down. At this moment Forward Works has posted a tweet asking people who have paid for the game to send there issues to them. This tweet came out yesterday but the game has been down for 2 months. So far only an apology for gamers has been given.
