Slowly we have been hearing things about the PlayStation 5 giving us a somewhat better idea as to what we can look forward to. While we have been hearing about the hardware we must ask about the games as a game console needs them to succeed. Recently Sony has come out and said that all PS4 exclusive games will stay on the PS4.Which means only a small handful of games (as it seems for the moment is being made for Sony next gen as the public might not know until they are ready to tell us.) This leads to ask what will they do for the games?
Well we learned from an investor meeting that they plan to expand. Sony CEO Jim Ryan stated that they will strengthen the console “through organic growth and acquisitions.” What this mean is that Sony maybe planning to buy up more studios as they last time they mentioned acquisition they brought sucker punch studios the ones behind infamous and now the ghost of Tsushima. The article mentions that they maybe thinking about buying naught dog legendary for uncharted as well as Jak & daxter and Resistance. But they might not stop there as they build this strong line up for the next gen. What do you think though?Let me know.
