Sony was missing from E3 2019. Something that Microsoft Phil Spencer noticed. Not only that but he missed Sony a bit.

Now while Microsoft gets more hype as they have one less competitor to deal with. We learn that Phil is also on the E3 board so he would like to have Sony stay. Not just to make keep the show expanding and all eyes on them. But the article also mentions that just because Sony is gone doesn’t mean Xbox automatically gets the attention that was for them.
Now will Sony return to E3 next year depends strongly on whether or not there event which is there answer to E3 works out.
