Many fans enjoyed Devil May Cry 5. Just like all good things we don’t want to end so we want more. One thing we want more off is Vergil. Knowing that Dante evil brother would be in the game fans thought that eventually you would get to play as him. Now at the moment that isn’t in the cards but when it does happen what will it look like. So I figured we should take a look at it and see imagine what Vergil arsenal would be like in this game.
First off if you are wondering about the battle system thanks to Dante and mods we do have some idea. Dante transferred his battle system from DMC 4 over to DMC5 and so would Vergil. Also the mods shows this being a thing with Capcom backing it up through DLC update. So that is out of the way.
Which brings us to what weapons Vergil would have in the DLC. Lets go with 4. Yamato, gauntlets, a dual weapon and one extra. I though of this still basing it on DMC 4 where he Yamato, beowolf and Sparda which was him using both Yamato and forced edge. I am adding one more as he needs something crazy to match the new rebellion for players. But we will start with the guanlets
We will call them Akuma. While Dante gets Balrog which gives him kickboxing and some breakdancing moves this will be different. With a lightning them Vergil will get Shoto and kung fu inspired move set. This will give him some traditional moves such as his own dragon punch but with a fireball to go with it along with some stuff from Bruce lee Jeet Kung Do and flying kick which he will be able to combo from with fireballs all more kicks. At max concentration every time he dashes he leaves lightning trailer as one of the affects. This lightning would harm enemies or paralyze them depending on what type of enemy we are talking about.
Now Vergil should also get his own duel weapon. I am thinking twin axes. The axes can be 1 hit armor breakers that explode on impact. At least the second one if the player does the right combo and has enough concentration and this power hungry son of Sparda will unleash combos that look bombs going off. Leaving nothing in there wake. At full concentration these axes explosive force can be felt by a whole group not just one allowing you get some breathing room.
The last weapon I think should be a double sided blade. Vergil can use it as a staff or spear. This would give him ability to mix it up. He can do some of the stuff e did with forced edge such as round trip. While at the same time something new which is what most devil arms seem to be over all. At max concentration he can do round trip that sucks enemies in the same way a violent tornado would.The spear throw would trap all in its path slamming them into the wall with it.
Now keep in mind this is only a few things and with concentration at full the combos you can do should be just as crazy as with Dante and his weapon selection. But these are my thoughts let me know yours on what Vergil arsenal would look like.
