The King Of Fighters XV Who To Expect ???

The King Of Fighters XV is in the works as we know but who will be in it is something we will be asking until we see the full roster. While you guess at who you should remember that many new or missing characters have been revealed or brought back thanks to Verse defeat. Verse was the boss of XIV and was made up of many people so with his defeat they got released. We know Ash Crimson and the heavenly kings are a few of them but who else. Well NeoGeo Now has posted a new video where they go over that very question. Check it out as you may be surprised as to who was mentioned that you missed.

    SNK just wanted to start over, so they made up thise Verse excuse. Hopefully, roster lore isn’t the only thing they’re starting over, because confirming into Max Mode from far-standing normals is terrible.

    This is their flagship game, there’s a lot riding on getting it right, and they pretty much have no competition as well, considering Street Fighter VI isn’t coming out for years yet.

    All over the internet, I’m seeing kof lore fanboys making the stupidest gameplay and graphics suggestions that — if SNK listens to — will make the game fail. All KoF XV needs to do is go back to the basics. Tweeked KoF 98 gameplay with modernized, 96-tier presentation.

    1. No cell-shading.
    2. No lk, lk, lk, lk max mode.
    3. Make linking normals more rewarding (eg: LK into LP should do more slightly damage than LK, LK, or LP, LP).
    4. GOOD GRAPHICS.
    5. Team mates in the background
    6. No stupid irrelevant stages (circus, south amer waterfall, Opera House).
    7. 96 – 98 drew new people in for a reason. Make it feel alive. Like a live tournament.

    Keep up the good work, anyway. I’ve read this blog for a long time.

      Yes verse was an excuse to bring bac people but with that some good graphics and story telling and they should be fine. Gameplay wise we might still have max mode only because for the most part SNK likes to keep gameplay in the same arc. With that said thanks for checking me out and sticking it out. Hope you keep coming back.

        The thing about MaxMode is if they do bring it back, and it’s exactly the same as XIV, people won’t support the game for long. Being able to MM from a far-standing normal for 50% damage kills the game. In no universe will a game like that rival Street Fighter again (which, let’s be honest is SNK’s re-dream). If MaxMode stays, it’s gotta be cancelable from proximity normals only.

        Another thing is DPs. Andy and Kyo’s DPs should not trade with hyper-hopping normals; it makes jump-ins way too free.

        But overall, man, you’re right. Good graphics and good story mode = sales.

        Lets be honest this SNK so I doubt max mod will be exactly the same. Hopefully if the do implement it they have your concerns in mind. Also check out my other kof xv what if on Rugal and Igniz curious as to your thoughts on them.
