The King Of Fighters seems to be in a state where it will be bring back its dead characters. This will allow for interesting story lines with one focusing on Nest. Nest revivals is seen in A New Beginning as well as the game as with Igniz return confirmed as well as Krizlaid along with the doctors who worked on Nelson arm it seem the cartel is back in some form.
Now this will be an interesting story as even if we get Igniz Nest won’t be just one unit. The way it sits now we have loyalist such as the clones, possible Krizlaid to Igniz. On the outside or traitors we have K, Maxima, Whip, Kula, Diana, Foxy, Angel. Sylvie and K49 (or nameless as SNK needs to decide on that). And with Diana and Foxy trying to make a more respectable Nests we can see the division and the fight it will coast. As you can see the fight coming.
Now to be fair this won’t be easily 2 sided. I say this because Igniz isn’t the decato leader as he basically just took it to be the saga last boss. Igniz was Nests right hand man and son. Something we learned just before Igniz killed him and took his position as CEO. With this we don’t know if everyone will swear loyalty to him. Seeing Igniz get people to his side will be something a writer can sync there teeth into to flesh out the character.
To give you an idea as to how much Igniz he was shown as the big boss of the saga in 2001. until then we didn’t hear or knew of him. Even now we don’t know if he is power by. We know his suit is tech driven but with Igniz also uses a strange power as well as shown he seems to be able to tap into cosmic power.
We covered that before but this battle between Diana nest and Igniz Nest would be one of assassins I would imagine. Basically big fight and quick kills since we are talking about fighting an crime syndicate. But with that said it might not go that way. Ikari warrior will most likely be involved in this since Whip is involved as well as them acting as the law and order for Kof.
And now we need to look as to how the story will be. Right now we need to keep it small. Shune is the main at the moment with Verse the big bad. Meaning the game will only focus on them mainly . But we could have little things pop up that show Nests is coming back strong. You could say they already started with South America ending where we see Nelson doctors being a little suspicious.
We could keep getting little things like that until we get a big reveal showing Igniz encharge of Nest or at least alive with a good amount of forces behind him. As of right now he might have some clones left along with a lot of powerful tech. Something But they will need more than. The thing is though it would be a good entry into the story which will probably surve as a sub plot or main one depending on what SNK does. But those are my thoughts let me know what you thinks.
