As fans await Hunter X Hunter return we got someone imagining a time skip. Now this happened in most kid animes to allow the character to grow and for the artist to be able to tell more deeper stories with them. Granted HXH broke that mold as Gon and Killua to the chimera ant arc end got pretty dark. But still it is the thought that counts.
If you are wondering the idea is that in the manga Gon and Killua are 14-15. The time skip the fan was thinking of makes them 20.
