We now know a new Batman game is in the work from Warner Brother Montreal thanks to the tease on Batman Day. And while we wonder about what it is going to be about we learn today that Kevin Conroy who voiced the dark night for fox 5 animated series as well as Justice League and the 3 out of the 4 Arkham games will not be voicing Bruce this time around.
“I’m no.I know. I don’t know why.” Again, it appears Conroy would have been down to once again voice Batman, but alas, it wasn’t in the cards.
I’m not a gamer, but I have been guided through playing the game, by the Rocksteady [makers of the Batman: Arkham series] people, and boy, it is spectacular. I can see why people are so addicted to them. The feeling of flying through Arkham with Batman is just incredible.” Kevin
While it is something odd it isn’t too surprising. I mentioned he voiced 3 of the 4 Arkham games. Batman Arkham Origins which was done by WB Montreal decided not to go with the man who has become known as the voice of the dark knight by many. As to who would be lending there voice to Batman for this adventure we do not know but it will be interesting to see who they get to fill his shoes.
