Seven Deadly Sins Wrath Of The Gods will begin this week. In honor of the anime 3rd season airing I figured we would go over the other 2 seasons. This will only be the anime not manage. This a quick over view but expect more look back at the characters through out the week.
Season 1
The sins have been branded criminals and as such are wanted and divided. But needing someone to help save her father Elizabeth. She then runs into Melidoas the sin of wrath and commander of the sins. From here the 2 along with Hawk go to gather the sins. They then meet up with Diana, Ban, King And Growther before Hendrickson gets Elizabeth bring the fight to the kingdom of lions.
Here we see the new holy knight have been given demon blood. But they cannot control it too long and are sent rampaging. Now with Merlin they face Hendrickson who has taken in demon blood himself and is defeated. Before the season we find out that the demon possessing Hendrickson was after Meliodas sword as it was a key to the demon coffin. A relic that was left behind from the war between the angle clan and demon clan.
Season 2 Revival of The Ten CommandmentsÂ
In season 2 the demon are released and have 2 things on there mind. Gather souls as well as get there revenge on Meliodas. As they gather souls we see the demons great power and in order to take them on we get a training moment of sorts. During this time we learn Meliodas power was particialy sealed off. Merlin takes him to uncover this power as Ban runs into one of the strongest sins Escanor completing the team. Meliodas gets his power and the team head off to fight the commandments.
A tournament held by the commandments gives Meliodas a chance to take out 2 of them only to have that chance taken away when all of them show up. Meliodas falls leaving the sins and England to the demons. The commandments then run rampant with the only standing in there way being Escanor. Escanor take out 2 but the others are causing havoc that is until Meliodas wakes up. He returns different and from there we learn that Meliodas is under a curse. He cannot die but every time he comes back he will lose more of his humanity making him into his former self. Something that scares him.
What you need to know.
The battle wit the demon and angle clan will be center stage as we see the demons and arc angles go at it. We will also learn more about both Elizabeth and Meliodas especially on how Meliodas was. Escanor power will be something to keep track of as we learn more about that and Gowther as well and his role during the war. This was a quick over that hopefully gives you some idea as to what to look for in season 3. Through out the week I will post quick bios of characters to catch you up so you have a good idea of the sins and what to expect. With that said make sure not to miss the premier October 9th.
