Seven Deadly Sins is having a new season with Seven Deadly Sins Wrath Of The Gods. With the new season premiering this week I decided to do a recap of the 2 seasons. This will be a quick recap but it will contain spoilers so please go check out the anime on Netflix now. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD. This time we will be looking at the sin greed Ban.
Season 1
In season 1 we meet Ban in a prison as he got board and allowed himself to be jailed. We soon find out that he is immortal thanks to getting the fountain of youth from the fairy forest. He meets up with Meliodas and joins him Diana, Elizabeth and hawk to rejoin the sins. Along the way we learn that Ban fell for the fairy who was guarding the fountain Ellien who is King sister. King tries to kill Ban as he blames him for her death only to learn it was his fault and joins the rest of the team.
Ban is the first sign of Meliodas demon power as Meliodas uses it to counter Ban stealing strength from him. Ban receives injures as he sent flying and badly wounded in an instant. This power has King thinking Meliodas is a demon something Ban denies thinking about but we find out is true.
Ban is given a chance to bring Ellien back as a member of the Goddess clan promises to do so if he kills Meliodas she will come back. Meliodas lets ban try and kill him only for Ban not to. Ban would instead help King save the new holy knights from becoming demons. When it was all over we learned that the member of the Goddess clan ban was talking too lied to him as Meliodas pointed out. Ban would leave the sins as felt bad for trying to kill Meliodas
Season 2
In season 2 we catch with Ban as he travels with Jericho. Ban is seen using his blood to bring back the fairy forest. He is soon attacked by one of the fairies telling him he is not the true fairy king. (They started call him that but as to why it is not explained. The idea is because he brought back the forest by using his blood.)
A demon then attacked the forest with Ban and King fend it off. King then leaves but Jericho sticks with Ban long enough to meet the man who raised him. They soon ran into one of the commandments who not only brought back Ellien but steals Ban teacher soul as the man sacrificed himself in Ban place. They are soon meet by Escanor who takes out the demons.
The group then reunites with the other sins only to face off with the commandments once again. This time Meliodas gets singled out. Ban goes back in order to stop them from killing Meliodas but it is no use. Ban tried to fight back against the demons but much like the others he was beaten easily and had to watch as Escanor held them off. We end with him united with the others in order to stop the demons
What to look for in season 3.
Ban immortality will become a factor as he will need to help the others and gain something to help him fight back against the demons.
