Devil May Cry 5 was an excellent installment. So much so that Capcom has stated that the series is a major title. Now that should be no surprise as given how much the game has earned the company. But what does this mean going forward?
Well a new interview highlights that this is something for the new blood as Capcom will be bring in new staff to handle the franchise adventures. Not only as they will be mentored but people like Itsuno might be getting more Matt Walkers who played the original game and want push the series as fan boys and girls living the dream
“Moreover, they are overflowing with energy, and desire to use their skills to develop new markets, which is why they joined Capcom, whose DNA is rooted in a focus on global markets. If the employee is highly capable, they may be assigned to the development of major brands, such as Resident Evil or Devil May Cry in the early years of their career. Learning and achieving results under the tutelage of a leader while taking on more responsibility over time readies that employee to eventually take on a leadership role themselves in the future.” Capcom
