Boruto anime is now in 120 something episodes and showing no signs of stopping as it begins its new arc. The thing is many are asking why we haven’t seen more stories that are covered in the manga. I have those questions as well as my own that I think we should go over about the 2nd generation knuckle headed ninja adventures.
First though we should go over what are fillers. Filler arcs are mainly a series of episodes meant to by time for the manga to catch to the anime or pass so they have more material to use to tell the main story. This has evolved to where fillers can be used to set up the next arc as we see in series such as Dragon Ball Super.
Now in Boruto case we were bound to get more filler as the anime is said to tell the story its way. To be precise the anime will tell the story touching on material or key points that are mentioned in the manga. The reason why I say we were bound to get more fillers is that Boruto is a monthly manga not weekly as Naruto was so it will take more time to get story material to draw from.
So why is this a problem? By now many are asking why are we seeing so many fillers? At this moment we are in the manga way from the plot from Boruto Naturo The movie where he faced the Otusaki. Right now we have met Kawaki. The leaf have had faced 3 of Kara members and then Jigen. So if we have so much material then why have the anime not touched it since the movie story? We don’t know but it should go further as technically we shouldn’t be going through like this. Basically we should at least with have Kawaki and Karam as points in anime right now.
When it comes to making a series it takes a lot. A lot of planning from planning it out to making it. So when it comes to it we shouldn’t have that many fillers as basically we should have planned out to have it so we have filler and actual story. Now why is this important?
Most people don’t pay attention to fillers as they don’t matter as they don’t push the story. This again changed as we have fillers that prepare for story. But we have enough story that we can animated now. We should technically have episodes based on what is covered in the manga. Or at least there version of what has happened in the manga. Again you have to remember the anime is moving at its own pace and will cover the same material.
