Super Dragon Ball Heroes Why Did Trunks Xeno Become Super Saiyan God Trunks

Super Dragon Ball Heroes is getting a new Super Saiyan God with Trunks. However that wasn’t the plan. Originally Trunks was supposed to Super Saiyan 4. The issue according to the team was that they couldn’t figure out what color Trunks should be. That is not a problem with SSG as there is only one color.

“The original plan for Trunks: Xeno’s super form was to go with Super Saiyan 4.It turns out the idea was scrapped after some conflicting ideas rose about the boost. The team could not decide what colors should be used for Super Saiyan 4 Trunks, but the scheme for Super Saiyan God is quite clear.”
