Guilty Gear 2020 Arc Revo Shows Big Damage But Will It Stay?

Guilty Gear 2020 is at Arc Revo 2019 and the footage is coming in showing how Sol, Ky Chip, Potemkin, Axl and May play. This footage is coming in with some crazy damage. We have 4 hit combos taking more than half your life. One combo particular has Sol doing the same move over and over again.

Now I showed this already but we have another video showing similar damage ratio with different moves. The idea here is to switch out GG infamous high number  combos that scale hard with short easy combos that produced big damage. Similar to what we see in Samurai Shodown.

The thing is this is not Samurai Shodown. What does that mean? It means these will not just be small combos. Don’t forget that unlike SS you can combo into super here big time. And given that we have only seen what special move based combos can do one can only guess what combo can do if it leads to Overdrive.

But if are one of those people are shaking your head going here we go again I would like to ask you to stop for a minute and think. This is a demo and as such big troublesome things such as life ending combos that require no bar is something developers are looking for to see how players react. Remember this is all about feed back from roll back suggestion to gameplay. It is all on display but it is also under the microscope as we see what else will come out of this Alpha build.

If you want you can check out more footage below.

If you like what you see please like and follow. As always thank you for reading.
