Capcom has renewed trademarks for Darkstalkers, Power stone, Dino Crises and Cyberbots. This can be big as when companies do this it can be the sign they have new projects in the works for the series. And with Capcom looking back at its catalog to reawaken old titles that just might be the case.
On the other hand this renewals of trademarks basically making sure they own the rights to the game which have to be renewed every so number of years. As such it might not mean anything. But we will have to see where this leads to as we know Darkstalkers is not just a series fans have been itching for but also Ono has talked about many times about bring back. Powers Stone is another but that is one of Itsuno wishes. The point being people fell they should come back. Fingers cross they do.
I should also point out that very same article notes that none of the versus titles were renewed. This goes from Marvel Vs Capcom to Capcom Vs SNK.
