Mario Kart Tour multiplayer beta has begun. People who paid for the gold pass which is 4.99 will be able to play the beta until the 27th. Keep in mind though this is a beta so things might not work they way they are intended to. To give you an idea of what that might mean here is a piece of the article which quotes the website an expected issues.
“The official website says people might notice lag, disconnects, and crashes while taking part in a race with other people. It also warns that it could be a greater drain on battery life than Mario Kart Tour normally is. Also, no multiplayer save data will carry over from this trial to the full game when the feature is enabled for everyone.”
Also you won’t be racing people live but there ghost data. If you have the gold pass fire up the engine and give it a shot.
