Today we learned that Boruto is getting more poltical. This will contain spoiler if not a tease so if you do not want to be spoiled stop not. AGIAN SPOILER AHEAD.
This comes from the message we got from Boruto co creator Ukyo Kodachi in vol. 10 in it he thanks fans and proceeds to tease that not everything in the hidden leaf village is as it should be below is the full message.
As you see things are looking as though we will have a separate fraction that is not on board with how Naruto runs things. Fans are comparing this to Shippuden when we were introduced to Donzo who was the opposite to Tsunade in how he would run things and had his own secret fraction to do it in the foundation. If so then this would be the 2nd time the series tried to get political.
I used the word tried as Donzo reign didn’t last long. After Pain attack he was promoted to Hokage but lost it after losing his fight with Sasuke. But even then he seem to be at the end of his rope if you look at what he was doing. We get introduce to Danzo who brings in Sai which his orders make sense and in the manner to do so. Sasuke is a traitor and as such knows too much about the village to be left in Orochimaru hands. Especially since Danzo sees him as completing Orochimaru wish by giving him a Uchiha body to use. But this goes against what happens with Pain.
When pain attack the village Danzo kills the message frog to keep Naruto away. Makes since as he is what they are after and giving how the tail beast are seen as weapons at this point. So to Donzo he is keeping there best weapon out of enemy hands. As well as stopping them from there main goal to gather them all. But when Pain starts destroying the village he is hiding with the rest of foundation under the village hoping Tsunade healing keep casualties to a low number. But keep in mind Pain can also sense Chakra and thus would have found them. So this hiding was pointless.
For the kage summit it was similar. Tobi as Madara attacked and demanded for Naruto. Donzo was long gone so Gara spoke up and said no to it. He fleed with his guards until Tobi took them out and left him to Sasuke. Now you can see this as what a ninja does. They are assassins and spies so fighting at any disadvantage is not what they will do. And being the head of it Donzo needs to be kept safe. But in Naruto universe they are the primary military force as such you must stay in fight in some instances. To me Danzo was to quick on his heels. 
Now to be fair you do have to keep the top guy safe and not all of Tsunade ideas were sounds. Even if he is the main most people would keep the enemy away from there goal not bring it closer to them. Naruto is making the same mistakes as he is having Kawaki walking around free. Granted he is watching him but free all the same. So you can understand how people would question the will of fire when it seems to leave it self so open at times.
To me I didn’t like Danzo but if the Outers are handled better this could work. Remember the outers are minor members of Kara. So it will be having Akatsuki spies plotting Naruto demise. But in order for this to be good they will have to handle it well. Basically we only get to know who all of the member are by the end of the arc. But that is hoping. What about you guys though?
