Fire Force episode 23 and 24 are out and we will be going over them. Since this a breakdown there will be spoilers. Now this is going to be to be different as we will 2 episodes instead of one as this was aired in Japan as a special season finale giving the series an hour to its self. With that said we have Shinra still trying to break through to Sho. He has moved on from words and has moved to using the Adola link not just to link him to his brother power source but also to him. The result is telepathic link not only showing Shinra memories but also ones Sho seemed to have lost. Or not remember considering he was only months old.
This now only shows us baby Sho but also Shinra going through life. Remember he is considered to be the cause of the fire that took his family lives. Combine that with the smile and you get a kid who is seen as the devil by all. But besides a reiteration of Shinra harsh life we also see memories break through memories that make Sho feel again. Leading a nice painful reunion. Painful as in order to get to his brother Shinra flew into his sword.
Now if that isn’t bad enough we see the white clad aren’t ready to let Sho go yet. Haumea appears and she is a problem. With her power over electricity she can control people and redirect most projectiles. Think Magento meets Xavier but we didn’t get Onslaught but this girl as a combination of the 2. She takes Sho and was planning to take the rest but was stopped by the 8th.
Arthur sword is the only thing that is unaffected by her ability. Something that bothers her. But she can’t stay since they must run so to does the 8th so they aren’t burred alive. As they leave we are shown that at some point the white clad collected its members as only the sheets that covered there faces was left behind. But how they did that wasn’t revealed. While that is interesting we still have to get Shinra to a hospital which there is only one they can think off. Company 6 special hospital.
Company 6 is the same as squad in bleach meaning they are a healing unite. The captain Kayoko Huang is asked by Obo to heal Shinra which works thanks to her special ability which works with the flame to heal human body. It also helps that he has an adolla burst. But Shinra recovers to Burns visiting him where he reveals he not only knew that Sho was the real cause of the fire but that the white clade were behind it. He didn’t tell Shinra as he figured he would lose to them. But before telling him the whole truth Burns demand for a rematch.
The battle is up hill as Burn shows of some of his power to Shinra. This forces are Devil show the new found speed he discovered by linking with Sho. Having landed a hit on Burns the captain of company 1 explains what happened 12 years ago. And it is a lot more than what Shinra though it was.
They came to get Sho as they used Haumea to not only activate the adolla burst but either her or the evangelist cause Shinra mom to go infernal. Not just any infernal but the horned one that Shinra thought caused. Not only that but it is the one he saw on the otherside when then Adolla link took him to hell.
Burns knows they are there as his eyes which he says his lost from going to the world and seeing it began to burn. We also learn not everyone can see the Evanglist as looking at him will burn your eyes out. Shinra mom handled this by replacing her eyes with horns after they were burned. Shinra mom takes Sho and goes off. Burns doesn’t see her again and tells Shinra his mother and brother are both dead. Now granted there are still somethings that make me question Burns. For one he knew about obtaining Grace we he might have gotten from Viktor report but it still seems off with how he acts. Regardless that is all he ahs for Shinra. All he has to help him with his family.
We then have Shinra now looking into a way to turn someone from an infernal back into a human. But before we can begin are new quest for Shinra we need him to get back to the 8th for the big party. People from company 7,1 and 5 were there. At least the character we have gotten used to seeing. So we will have to see where this goes in season 2.
