In 2019 we were introduced to Gungrave Gore with trailer getting hyped for Grave to once again bring us into his world. But it was pushed back to 2020 to make it better according to Iggymob. And I hope that is what we get.
And I hope that is what we get. The last interview with the development team got me thinking they had only Grave and Bungie as playable character. I hope we get more as fans want Buji and Billy to come back. We also more characters like them and while Quatrz is a nice addition I do hope she isn’t the only one we see isn’t just a cool idea but a great fighter.
But that isn’t the only thing that has me excited. Grave was a tank in the last game giving speed and agility to the other two. Telling by what we saw in the trailer as well as the interview that will not be the case as Grave will be doing a lot more than just shooting you with Cerberus guns. Also his Coffin is said to be able to do a lot more than artillery.
The world sounds nuts too. They go from Hong Kong to Scumland an island nation that has just formed but is the worst place on the planet. Think madripoo basically. At the same time it looks like a place to really get to see the Gungrave world. Something the series never did. Remember we were mostly confined to a location and only learning about certain people. With this game they can expand on that and really creat somethign with this.
Overall I have been hoping we see Gungrave return. Now that it is I can’t wait to play it. And I hope we do in 2020.
