We are entering a new year and while it is a given that we will be learning more about The King Of Fighters XV but at the same time there are some questions and things I want that I hope we get in this next installment.
1 Roll back net code is a must as it has become a standard so you can get longer play by having more people play online. One of KOF XIV issues was online for gameplay. This would take care of that.
2 Roaster is an issue in any fighting game as some stay and some go. The character that needs to stay is Rock as many did love the return of Mark Of the Wolves main character. But with him we need Ash and Rugal to also return as many fans have requested them heavily.
3 Graphics I for one want them to do 2d as we see in KOF Destiny the game or something similar to Arc system works. (I say destiny as it seems both destiny and xiii seem to have the same style.) To me the special and supers look cooler when it was 2d. Yes 3d did gives better camera angels but I haven’t yet seen in a fighter for 3d the same level impact on effects I see in 2d games.
4 Story mode and by this I mean an actual story mode and not arcade redubbed story mode just to say it is in the game. And doesn’t have to be anything to crazy just gives us some cool intros here and there between characters and story elements for when you pick a team and when end with them. The same way there is much thought into why the teams met.
Lastely I want this on current gen. Yes next gen is practically here and would be great if it was a launch title for PS5 and Xbox Series. But that would mostly mean we would have to buy next gen to play it. Plus the next gen PS5 is backwards with PS4 so it might as well be for PS4 to me. But those are my thoughts.
